Record Working Hours and Absences for Employees
As an administrator you can record times and absences directly for your employees – a week of sick leave, a forgotten working day, or hours for employees who do not use a device themselves.
1. Add a working time entry
Go to the Working Hours tab and pick the day in the week bar. Then tap the plus icon (+) – it is available in the "Own" view as well as in "All".
At the top of the form you will find the Employee row. Tap it and select the person. Then enter project, activity and duration as usual and tap Save.
The "Employee" row is only visible to administrators. It defaults to you, so your own time tracking works exactly as before.
2. Add an absence
Open the absence calendar via the calendar icon in the Working Hours tab and tap the plus icon (+) in the top right corner.
Here too you pick the person in the Employee row, then the period and the absence type. The time per day follows the employment level of the selected person, not your own.
3. Where the entry shows up
When you record working time for someone else, the view switches from "Own" to "All" after saving – that is where the entry is visible; it deliberately does not appear in your own list.
Every entry created this way carries the note "Entered by …" with your name. The employee sees this note in their own list, and in the working time control of the monthly PDF such entries are marked with an asterisk.
💡 No stopwatch for others
There is no timer for entries you make for someone else – you always record a finished time. You can still stop a stopwatch that is already running for an employee: see Correct Employee Working Hours.
✓ Unapprove a month first
You cannot add entries to an already approved month without removing the approval first – otherwise the balance and an already approved monthly report would diverge after the fact. Steps: Profile → Approve → select employee → swipe the month row left → "Unapprove", then add the entry and approve again.
